The article considers the issues of digital transformation higher education. approaches to definition and content term “digital transformation” are analyzed, specifics conditions digitalization economy development education investigated. As prerequisites for education, one can designate not only penetration into educational field various information technologies that have changed learning process itself, but also a number regulatory legal acts. reasons universities identified. There considered modern in set competencies university teacher must master. experience individual (Tyumen State University, National Research University Higher School Economics, Toliatti University) building environment has been analyzed. involves restructuring all areas activity based on communication technologies. Changes should take place training programs, methods means, forms activities, planned outcomes, assessment results. It is noted skills knowledge necessary carry out professional activities using listed future graduates master: working with applied equipment, information, environment, self-writing software, creating their own products, etc. Retraining teaching staff implies developing advanced programs aimed at mastering demand by economy, which be formed among graduates. inferred totality systems, devices, sources, interfaces, services, developed implementing management, constitutes environment.
